The Thula Thula Rehabilitation Wildlife Centre, 23 km from Empangeni, was created in partnership with Thula Thula Game Reserve and international animal welfare organization Four Paws, for the rescue of all injured or orphaned wildlife, with the purpose to rehabilitate them into the wild.

A professional team of experienced and dedicated animal caretakers work under the guidance of local wildlife veterinarians for the daily needs of the wounded or orphaned animals at the centre.
